Ambrosius Brueghel

Ambrose Brueghel or Ambrosius Brueghel (; baptized 10 August 1617, Antwerp – 9 February 1675) was a Flemish Baroque painter who specialized in landscapes.
==Information==
His brother and nephews specialized in flower paintings and some have been attributed to him also.〔(Ambrosius Brueghel ) in the RKD〕 He was the son of Jan Brueghel the Elder and Catharina van Marienburg and his work is similar to that of his older half-brother and teacher, Jan Brueghel the Younger, and Jan the Younger's son Abraham Brueghel.〔Van Miegroet.〕 He became a member of the Antwerp Guild of St. Luke in 1645.〔 In 1649 he married Anna Clara van Triest.〔 He became deacon of the guild in 1653, 1665, 1671 and 1673.〔 He is known for landscapes, though still life paintings are regularly attributed to him that are later reattributed to other flower specialists in the family, or popular earlier flower artists who signed works with monograms that could be read as "AB", such as Ambrosius Bosschaert or Osias Beert.〔
He was primarily active in Antwerp, and travelled to Paris in 1650.〔
